Hello!  Nice to meet you!  I am a licensed CPA with a passion for the outdoors and small business.  After a decade in public accounting, I started Ridgeline Business Solutions in 2021 with a mission to help small business and nonprofits with administrative and accounting services.  We work with mid-size service businesses, and nonprofits, which I specialized in during my 12 year career in public accounting.

In 2024, my wife, Liz, joined the business in an Adminstrative Support role.  Liz brings many years experience in office support and is very organized, detail-oriented and an excellent communicator.

We provide a wide array of business office services for mid-size service organizations.  Depending on the scope, you may call us an Outsourced CFO, Controller, Business Manager, Bookkeeper, Office Assistant, etc.  Outsourcing a contractor for these roles often makes more sense and saves money over hiring an employee in these roles.  We are good at it, we are easier to manage, and we have redundancies.

I also scaled back some office work and started Ridgeline Outdoor Services LLC in 2024.  We are a small residential and commercial tree service, as well as general lawn and lansdcape maintenance, and what I enjoy the most is working in the woods on native habitat and forest improvements.  If it's a sweaty job outside, we are your helping hands.

We reside in Centre County, Pennsylvania with our three kids, a dog, and a cat.  Outside of family and work, Joe and Liz are supporters and leaders of several community organizations, our church, and enjoy reading, hiking, and just about anything outside, especially in the beautiful mountains of Central PA.
