Ridgeline Business Solutions is Officially a CPA Firm

Ridgeline Business Solutions LLC is now a licensed CPA firm in Pennsylvania.

What does that mean?

Prior to now, Ridgeline performed services under the guidance of a licensed CPA, but did not provide any services requiring a firm license. Ridgeline is now a licensed CPA firm in Pennsylvania.

Practically, we will now deliver compilation services under the SSARS (Statements on Standards for Accounting and Review Services), the standards set by the AICPA that guide accountants when they work on unaudited financial statements for private companies. When a lender or other third party specifically requires a compilation report, that used to mean bringing in an outside CPA firm for that one deliverable. Now RBS can issue it directly, from the same team that already knows the books.

Managed Accounting Services remains our core offering and we do not intend to begin offering audit and additional attestation services at this time.

Managed Accounting Services by Ridgeline is full-cycle accounting — bookkeeping, AP/AR, month close, controller-level reporting — run by a small, dedicated team. Ideal for real estate operators, contractors, and consultants who need a robust accounting function as an efficiency-minded alternative to a staffed internal department.

Now subject to peer review, the firm license is trust infrastructure behind the MAS offering. We look forward to serving clients under our firm license beginning immediately.
