Ridgeline Business Solutions · Ridgeline Accounting Diagnostic
Find out what your accounting function costs to run — and what it should.
A fixed-scope diagnostic led by a Pennsylvania CPA. It maps the people, process, cash, systems, and reporting behind your books, puts a number on the gap between what you pay and what the function should cost, and tells you what to do about it.
What It Is
A structured assessment with a defined deliverable.
The Ridgeline Accounting Diagnostic is a paid, fixed-scope engagement. It is not an open-ended advisory relationship and it is not a software pitch. Every finding is reviewed before it reaches you.
The assessment covers six areas: business profile, accounting and office operations, cash management, technology and systems, decision support, and an industry track — job costing and WIP for trades, consolidated NOI and lender compliance for real estate.
What You Receive
The Process
How the engagement works
Screening
Ten questions, about ten minutes. Confirms fit and scope before anything else begins.
Intake
A structured questionnaire completed by the owner and your finance lead, plus financial statements and supporting documents through a secure intake.
Analysis
CPA and team reviews the full intake and produces the findings report and cost model.
Debrief
What we found, what it means, and what comes next.
Fees
Fixed fee, set by scope.
Small
$2,500
Single entity, one accounting system. Home services and single-location trades businesses.
Large
$10,000AND UP
Multi-entity groups with consolidated reporting, intercompany activity, and lender requirements. Real estate and hospitality operators.
Scope and fee are confirmed at screening. The fee covers the full engagement — intake, analysis, report, model, and all three calls. There is no obligation beyond it.
Who This Is For
A specific profile.
- ✓ Owner-operated, with the owner active in financial decisions
- ✓ $5M or more in annual revenue
- ✓ Skilled trades, specialty contracting, commercial real estate, or multifamily
The owner's participation is required — about four hours across the intake and calls. The most useful signals come from the person running the business, not the person managing the spreadsheets.
The engagement runs on a fixed 10-day window from the date intake is complete. Late documents or unanswered follow-up pause the window; they don't extend it.
